Cholmondeley Arms 11th Annual Car Treasure Hunt 2025

On an awful rainy day we managed to conjure up 9 cars with their enthusiastic drivers and co-pilots for our 11th Cholmondeley Car Treasure Hunt! Well done everyone!
The teams set off towards Whitchurch before veering off right down country lanes picking up 40 clues, as they toured the rural Cheshire countryside, as well as answering the 10 tie breaker questions and the 10 questions in the traditional car round! Taking 5 Photos of local wildlife and farm animals were also part of the challenge!
In first place this year were a new team called NMC, Nathan and Chloe, who picked up a Tanqueray 0% Hamper, the Treasure Hunt Cup, a £200 gift card to use in our pubs and were confirmed as the 11th Cholmondeley Arms Treasure Hunt Champions of 2025! In second place were former 2022 Champions with the interesting team name…. ‘Mr Stanley, I presume’ and in third place were the 2023 Champions ‘The Crap Car Hunters’. Well done…some consistently good performances there!
Well done and a big thank you for braving the weather to all the teams who took part, you all did very well indeed. We hope to see you all at Cholmondeley again soon. We raised £110.00 for the Air Ambulance charity.
